IM MOVING TO WORDPRESS

IT IS OFFICIAL! I HAVE STARTED MY NEW PAGE ON WORDPRESS!

This was such a hard decision for me since I see my blog on Blogger as my baby. However, it became more difficult for me to change my blog's design and just overall do what I envision my blog to look like and all that it can achieve. Blogger was AMAZING to start out with but in the end I've decided to do the switch. It's very scary but we will see how it goes!

NYC Trip 2016!

My university has this thing called Fall Break. It's just a random break we have in October and this year I travelled to New York City with my friend!

I've been once before a couple of years ago but didn't do much sight seeing and was only there for a day and a half, I believe. This time, however, I wanted to see EVERYTHING!

I thought I'd post some pictures so that you guys could see and also in a way meet me because I think I have only posted a couple pictures of me before. Let me tell you I GOT SUCH A WORKOUT WHILE I WAS THERE. I have never walked so much in my entire life! I walked a little over 20 miles in just 2 days. Like ??? And I was told by so many New Yorkers that walking that much in a day is normal for them !? My calves were swollen hahaha. It was all worth it though. That city is beautiful, especially Central Park! I definitely recommend you go at least once in your lifetime and experience this city and all it has to offer. Click to see some more pics!

13 New Songs I've Fallen In Love With!

If you have read my blog before you can guess that it's usually all about books and what I'm currently reading right now. However, I am currently on winter break from my university and I have so much time on my hands. You guys can't even imagine! I'm a pre-med student so I'm constantly busy so having all of this time on my hands is getting me kind of stir crazy! So my plan is to open up my blog topics to basically everything!

These are songs from an array of genres since I listen to practically every genre (but a few) and thought I'd share some of my recent downloads (If I continue to make this a thing I really need to come up with a better title) Also I'll be attaching the link to Youtube so all you'll have to do is click on the song to hear it!:

Dragon Lords of Valdier (Books 1-4) by S.E. Smith

Lately I've really gotten into alien books where human women are taken from Earth to live on another planet. It's so much fun to read about a whole new universe and creatures. This is the second series I've read where a group of girls are taken at the same time and each book does this rewind thing and I'm not sure how much I like it.

If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, (which I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't because I'm super vague) basically what I'm referring to is when a group of women are taken or arrive on the foreign planet all at the same time. The first book follows one women through different events that sometimes include the other girls. The second book rewinds to the arrival of all the girls (sometimes a little before to tell how she came about to be in that situation) but this time from a different girls point of view and it continues. Most of the time the "big events" the reader already knows either what's going to happen or what happens after because of the previous books. The third book, you guessed it, rewinds again to the arrival to tell the story through another woman's eyes.

I've only read up to half of the fourth book of this series (I believe there are 7?) and I like the women in these series because they are all very likable and badass and trust me when I say I don't even know where to begin when it comes to the males in this book. SMOKING HOT! Let's just say I envy the girls in this series.

Basically, these 5 women are taken from Earth (1 not so much taken but you'll see) and aren't too happy about their new living arrangements. After traveling through space for 2 weeks they arrive on Valdier, a planet that over the centuries have had a significant decline in female births. Each woman has a crazy past and their own unique personality.

I feel like I would've really really loved this series if it didn't keep rewinding, because I feel like nothing major happens without it being revealed in a previous book (because it all follows the same timeline). However, don't let that deter you from reading this series because there are things you find out about each individual woman that the other books don't. Also, each male I would say are all different from one another too which kept things interesting.

If you have already read this series and have loved it then I suggest reading the Dragon Lords by Michelle M. Pillow. Didn't realize until now that they basically have the same title lol! This one is a bit different because the women aren't taken they actually signed up to become brides since this planet basically has no female births. I really liked this series but it has the similar layout of the Dragon Lords of Valdier with the whole rewind thing.

I WAS OBSESSED!
So basically I stayed up until 4am on a week night trying to finish this entire book. I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN I'M NOT KIDDING IT'S THAT GOOD!

Fallen Crest High (book 1 of Fallen Crest High) by Tijan

Mason and Logan Kade are two brothers who did their own thing. They were rich and expected to attend her school, Fallen Crest Academy. They chose public school and now Samantha has to live with them. The problem is that she doesn't care at all: about them, about her friends, about her cheating boyfriend, or even about her parent's divorce. But maybe that's a good thing. Maybe change is a good thing.

I'm going to try my hardest not to rant to hard but I'm so frustrated with this book. I asked myself so many times "why why why why why" about a million times. Im just going to list off the things that annoyed me (: (beware spoilers)

Reaper's Property (book 1 of Reapers MC) by Joanna Wylde
